Vehicles prone to theft are always equipped with an OBD2 (OBD2 Diagnostic Connector), often found under the dash around the driver's seat or near the steering wheel or accelerator, allowing access to the vehicle's computer. This connector is often used in our shop for vehicle diagnostics. Immobilizer cutters have been popular for some time, but they have recently evolved to the point where they can even start the engine. Author Alarm, famous for products like IGLA and KEYLESS BLOCK, has developed a new product called the OBD BLOCK to block unauthorized access. It blocks communication from the OBD diagnostic connector to the computer, preventing engine start and key programming. However, be aware that other devices plugged into the OBD will also stop working. If you want to keep devices like radar detectors working, you can change the connection method, or use our original method to prevent unauthorized access.
