【Car Audio Installation Plan for Seat-Under Front 2-Way Multi + Rear / Front 3-Way Multi】

You’d like the sound from your factory audio to feel a bit more satisfying. But you want to avoid lining up equipment on the dashboard or in the cargo area, or changing your day-to-day usability.

This is a car audio installation plan based on installing equipment under the seats.

It supports either a front 2-way multi + rear setup, or a front 3-way multi setup. Based on your vehicle model and the specifications of your factory audio, how you use the front and rear seats, and the music you usually listen to, we’ll organize together which option fits you best.

Tune the sound without dramatically changing the look or usability

By housing the system components under the seats, you can keep the cargo area and around the dashboard neat and still consider stepping up from your factory audio.

“AUDIO QUALITY is what I want, but I want to avoid having equipment stand out.”

“Since I carry my family and luggage, I want to keep the luggage space.”

“I don’t want it to affect my everyday getting in and out or sliding the seats.”

This plan is easy to match with requests like these.

However, you can’t just install everything anywhere as long as it fits under the seat. We’ll think through the installation method for your vehicle while confirming the seat’s range of movement, heat dissipation, wiring handling, impact on your feet, and workability for inspection and maintenance.

Differences between Front 2-Way Multi + Rear and Front 3-Way Multi

With a front 2-way multi + rear setup, we adjust the tweeters and mid-woofers individually to refine the front sound, while also considering the overall in-car balance including the rear seats.

For example: Does the vocal sound naturally come from the front? Do the left and right channels connect cleanly? Is the bass not swelling too much? Using the songs you usually listen to, we aim for a comfortable listening condition in the car.

With a front 3-way multi setup, you can adjust the tweeters, mid-range, and mid-woofers separately. This becomes an option if you want to fine-tune things like vocal placement, instrument separation, and how smoothly the sound connects.

That said, choosing 3-way doesn’t automatically make the sound better than 2-way in every vehicle. Depending on the speaker mounting positions, the size of the cabin, the configuration of the factory audio, and how you normally listen, the most suitable system will differ.

If it were me, I wouldn’t decide on 3-way from the start. First, I’d confirm how you use the vehicle and your sound preferences. Then I’d consider whether the configuration you invest in is one where you’ll feel the difference.

The finish changes with installation and tuning

Car audio isn’t something that’s finished just by mounting the equipment.

Is the mounting position and wiring routing suitable for the vehicle? Will it interfere when you move the seats? After installation, is it in a state that makes inspection and maintenance easy? It requires installation work that considers long-term use, including parts you can’t see.

After mounting, we also tune while checking things like the cabin size, the distance to the speakers, and reflections caused by the interior.

We aim for a finish where vocals and individual instruments are easy to follow even at your usual volume—not only when you turn it up—and where you can listen for long periods without getting tired. Since everyone’s taste in sound differs, please don’t hesitate to tell us the songs you usually listen to and your image of what kind of sound you want.

A plan where we decide the best configuration for your car together

This installation content may vary depending on the vehicle model, the specifications of your factory audio, the condition of your existing system, and the mounting location. If we decide the configuration by email alone, it may not match the actual vehicle situation, so we guide you with accurate installation details after confirming the vehicle.

Even with the same front 2-way or 3-way, the necessary installation work and tuning differ from car to car. We’ll listen to things like why you want to install equipment under the seats, whether you want to listen mainly from the front seats or enjoy it from the rear as well, and how particular you are about the changes in sound. Then we’ll organize it into a setup you can enjoy comfortably for a long time.

If you want to keep your car’s interior smart while making your factory audio sound one step more satisfying, please show us your vehicle. While honestly telling you not only what we can do but also methods we don’t recommend very much, we’ll work together to bring out great sound.
