A standard speaker shares a single voice coil for both music playback and the emergency-call voice channel. The Ci5 M80 FM-D3 CTR separates the two: an audio-dedicated coil handles music, while a second dedicated coil handles an eCall-type emergency call. This keeps the factory center speaker's "just in case" function intact while still upgrading sound quality.
