This is a compact vibration damping material that’s easy to use when you want to suppress unnecessary vibrations transmitted from your vehicle’s panels on a point-by-point basis. Rather than processing a large area all at once, it’s a product suited to point-tuning for deadening—one that you add while checking the parts where vibrations are more likely to occur.

By applying it to vibration-prone areas such as the door module panel or the spare tire housing, it helps reduce panel resonance and works toward improving the cohesion of the sound when you listen inside the cabin. It’s also an easy-to-handle size of damping material when you want to fine-tune the results of a speaker replacement or deadening work.

The material uses high-specific-gravity, high-heat-resistant virgin butyl rubber and a 0.1 mm thick aluminum sheet. It’s designed to perform well in both high- and low-temperature environments, helping to minimize variation in damping characteristics due to seasonal changes.

The guideline for the number of pieces is 15 to 20 per door module panel and 20 to 30 pieces for the spare tire housing on one vehicle. However, the required quantity and placement locations will vary depending on the vehicle model, the panel condition, and the deadening already applied.
