A harness that lets you smartly start building sound in your Toyota using the factory wiring.
【AC-T101 10-pin / 6-pin Harness—Easy to Use for Aftermarket Audio Installation in Toyota Vehicles】
When installing an aftermarket audio system in a Toyota, people often focus on choosing the head unit and speakers. However, the harness used to connect to the vehicle side is also an important part that affects the final result.
AC-T101 is a 10-pin / 6-pin harness for Toyota vehicles. It is the type used for installing aftermarket audio in vehicles that do not have a display audio head unit—such as the first-generation Aqua, 50-series Prius, and early-model C-HR—and also for audio-less models. It is compatible with some Daihatsu vehicles as well.
This harness is used because it allows you to proceed with connecting to the aftermarket audio without modifying the vehicle-side wiring more than necessary. Even if you plan to replace the audio later or add an amplifier, DSP, etc., organizing the wiring upfront makes it easier to review the work later.
The cable length is 1.8 m. It provides enough flexibility for the unit installation position and cable routing, and it is also a convenient length when you want to neatly bundle the wiring without pulling it too tightly from the back. Although it’s not a visible area, having no strain on the wiring is important both for maintenance and for future system upgrades.
Also, if you use it in a front-speaker-only network mode, you will need additional modified wiring (separately). Because the details required may vary depending on the vehicle model and your current audio configuration, it’s recommended that you confirm not only the harness but also the equipment you plan to install and the system configuration you plan for in the future.
At Logon, we guide you not only based on harness compatibility by itself, but also by considering the specifications of the factory audio, the condition of the vehicle side, and even the sound direction you want to build. If it were me, I would carefully organize the connection method at the initial stage so that I don’t end up having to redo the wiring later.
If you’re considering an aftermarket audio system for your Toyota—or if you want to upgrade the system in a way that’s not difficult or disruptive compared to the factory setup—please feel free to consult us while confirming your vehicle model, model year, and current audio configuration.
