The cone uses a fiber-reinforced paper cone. By applying a special two-layer coating to it, the design focuses not only on preserving the natural resonance characteristic of paper cones, but also on sound expressiveness. In addition, a real-wood phase plug is positioned at the center of the cone. Although it’s a small-diameter speaker, it supports wide-range playback of 100Hz to 15kHz.

The sound impression isn’t simply one that emphasizes the treble. Its appeal lies in a deep, rich, full-bodied sound that places importance on details such as vocal thickness, instrument decay/sustain, and the luster of the tone. With a maximum outer diameter of just 90mm, it’s compact. It’s easy to consider even for vehicles with limited installation space and is also a size that makes installation near the A-pillar more straightforward. However, with actual installation, it’s necessary to check the available space and angles for each vehicle model, the existing speaker configuration, and the connections with the door-side speakers and tweeters.
