ZR Extravagance Saturn-CV -brushed- features three Neo magnet units, lavishly installed to create a fast-responding frequency response characteristic. This model targets an expression in which sounds you previously felt were a little farther away appear more in front of you—sharpness at the moment the sound comes alive, the breath of the vocalist, and the strike sound when cymbals are hit with sticks, for example.

In particular, if you tend to listen mainly to vocals, or if you want to enjoy the sense of “air” even in live recordings and acoustic-style tracks, you’ll likely notice changes when swapping the tweeter. Instead of simply making the high frequencies more flashy, we adjust while considering the connection between the front speakers and the overall sound in the cabin, drawing out the small details within the songs you already listen to—without forcing them.

The angle adjustment function included on the previous model, the ZR Extravagance SATURN, has been omitted, achieving a downsizing of 24 mm in diameter. The outer diameter is Φ65 mm, expanding your options when considering installation locations. Since the optimal mounting method will vary depending on the vehicle model, the position of the factory tweeter, and the space around the dashboard, it’s important not to judge by size alone—plan the finish while viewing the actual vehicle.

Tweeter impressions change significantly depending on the mounting position and orientation, the left-right height, and the volume balance with other speakers. Even with the same product, how it sounds can be completely different depending on where and how it’s installed and how it’s adjusted.
