A power amplifier that inherits the spirit of the Z-LX and brings out the expression in music.
【Z-2KD II|D-Class 1ch Power Amplifier】
You want your subwoofer to really come alive—but it’s not just about turning up the volume. You also want the low-end thickness and punch to be properly shaped. This Z-2KD II is a one-channel power amplifier designed for exactly that.
With a high-power D-class design, it supports 800W at 4Ω, 1400W at 2Ω, and 2100W at 1Ω. It’s a model that makes it easy to choose the right output for your system, even when pairing with large-diameter subwoofers or subwoofers driven at low impedance.
For the input, it uses a floating input so the ground does not form a loop. The power stage uses TO-3P type MOS-FETs, ensuring the strong drive required of a subwoofer amplifier. It also includes adjustment functions such as LPF, subsonic, phase, and bass boost, so you can set it up while checking how it integrates with the front speakers—making sure the bass doesn’t stand out too much inside the car.
The Z-2KD II is a model you should choose not only based on the amplifier’s standalone output, but also by considering your subwoofer specifications, box volume, power supply environment, and how it will be combined with other amplifiers. If I were choosing it, I would first confirm the required output and the subwoofer you’ll use, then organize which configuration—1Ω, 2Ω, or 4Ω—will suit your vehicle.
For installation, you must connect an external 100A fuse. Also, power wiring, grounding, the installation location, and heatsink space all affect the final finish and stable day-to-day performance. Even with the same amplifier, the way the bass “comes together” can change depending on how it’s built into the system and how far you adjust it.
Z-2KD II is a made-to-order product.
If you’re considering adding a subwoofer or replacing an amplifier, we’ll work out a sensible combination together while confirming your current system configuration, vehicle model, and intended use. This is a power amplifier I’d recommend consulting about if you want a low-end that you can enjoy comfortably with your everyday music—not just loud volume.
