A unit you’ll want to cherish as you listen—down to every subtle expression in the music.
【REFERENCE MKII IC (2.65m)|Analog/Digital Compatible Interconnect Cable】
When you tune the sound of your car audio system, the interconnect cable connecting the components is often the last thing people start to care about. Since it affects the overall impression of the system—such as the amount of sonic information, how the soundstage appears, and the definition of the vocals—you shouldn’t take cable selection lightly.
REFERENCE MKII IC (2.65m) is an interconnect cable designed with a focus on the contours of the sound, depth, and transparency. It’s suited to systems that want to convey the recorded information as accurately as possible, without excessively coloring the timbre. If you’d like to perceive the vocal placement, the separation of instruments, and the spread of the soundstage a little more carefully, this is a cable worth considering.
The jacket uses a proprietary thermoplastic polyurethane and a dielectric developed by Germany’s BASF. Its construction is also designed with vibration absorption in mind. As well as analog signals, it supports the transmission of digital audio signals because it is tuned to 110Ω.
However, you can’t simply choose a cable by itself. The best choice depends on the equipment used, the type of signal, the cable length, and how the wiring is routed. If it were me, I would confirm the overall system balance first, then think about how to combine cables so that the effect is easier to bring out in each part.
At Logon, we organize things together, including the role of the cables, while checking the vehicle’s system configuration and your current audio concerns. Please don’t treat this as only a matter of replacing expensive cables. Let us know where you can make changes in your current system to make it easier to enjoy music—consult us with regard to installation and adjustments as well.
