SPECIAL DC POWER 2AWG is a 2-gauge power cable designed specifically to supply power to power amplifiers for car audio. To make the most of your amplifier’s performance, you need to consider not only the thickness of the power cable, but also its flexibility, ease of routing, and a reliable connection to the terminals.

For the conductor, it uses a multi-wire BRC copper conductor with a stranded-twisted structure. It is wrapped in a flexible double-compound PVC jacket and covered on the outside with polyurethane resin Elastollan®. Even though it’s a thick cable, it remains easy to route and is designed to be practical to work with during installation in the vehicle.

It’s well-suited for adding a power amplifier or for revisiting your power setup to build a solid foundation for the entire system. A power cable isn’t just something you choose to be thicker. The final result and ease of use can vary depending on the vehicle model, amplifier configuration, distance from the battery, how you select fuses and terminals, and how the wiring is handled.
