Developed as a successor to the RS Revelation 165-2, released in 2015, it carries forward the concept of reproducing music as it is—without adding any unnecessary coloration to the sound. Details that were previously buried become easier to hear, such as the breath in vocals and the resonance of guitar strings. It’s the kind of speaker that can reveal new discoveries even in songs you already know well.

The tweeter features a silk dome tweeter with a 26mm voice coil. On the woofer side, a magnetic circuit combining a 32mm voice coil with a large ferrite magnet is built into an aluminum die-cast basket. The design achieves both clarity for picking up fine details and a sense of spacious reproduction that opens up the entire musical sound.

Because this model is a passive-less model that does not use a passive network, how the sound is “put together” changes depending on the amplifier and DSP you pair it with, as well as the system configuration on the vehicle.
