It’s also a material that’s easy to choose if you’re concerned about corrosion caused by moisture inside the door or if you want to avoid the factory resin baffle. However, even for the same vehicle model, what needs to be checked can vary depending on the model year, the specifications of the factory speakers, and the speakers you plan to install. This is not something that can be installed as-is on all vehicles using the MX-616. It’s safer to confirm the combination of the actual vehicle and the speakers, and—if necessary—consider including door-side processing and the mounting/fixing method.
