It supports a balanced structure that separates and outputs the negative side for the left and right channels independently, rather than sharing them as is typical. It’s suited for those who want to organize and deliver audio information more clearly, or for those who want to build a system that takes advantage of the DAP’s balanced output.
On the mini-plug side, you can choose from three types—2.5mm 4-pole, 3.5mm 4-pole, and 4.4mm 5-pole—depending on the DAP you will connect. The cable length is 2.0m.
However, even if the DAP supports balanced output, the appropriate cable may differ depending on the input specifications of the connected device and the system configuration. If I were choosing, I wouldn’t decide based on plug size alone—I’d confirm the DAP’s output specifications and the car audio unit’s input before selecting.
