When installing a component-type speaker system, where you place the tweeter affects not only the appearance but also how the sound spreads.

In this plan, we use the tweeter mount included with the speaker and drill holes in the A-pillar section to secure it. Because it’s easier to mount the tweeter at a height closer to your ears, the relative positioning of vocals and high-frequency ranges becomes clearer—making it even more enjoyable to listen to music from the driver’s seat.

For the tweeter installation work, if we install the speakers at our shop, it is basically provided at no charge. While checking things like convenience inside the vehicle and the location of the cup holder, we’ll consider together whether installing it on the A-pillar is best or whether another approach would suit you.

If you’d like to develop the system into a 3-WAY setup in the future, or if you want to expand the sound stage further toward the horizontal direction, we may also recommend installing the tweeters behind the door mirror. This method involves machining the genuine door-mirror backing area and finishing it using the included tweeter mount.

If you want to adjust the installation angle, choosing a focky (flocked) finish for the machined portion can help you achieve a one-step-higher result, including the visual texture. This is a施工 plan suited for those who want to value both the cohesiveness of the sound and the appearance after installation inside a Jimny.
