Sound readjustment (data recovery during battery replacement, etc.)

【Re-adjusting the Sound: Restoring Data After a Battery Change, etc. | Log On Original Adjustment Menu】

After removing the battery—such as during a battery replacement or vehicle service—the sound from the car audio suddenly changed.
When the vocal position shifts, the connection with the bass becomes worse, or the sound no longer feels as cohesive as before—this re-adjustment menu is the Log On original Sound Re-adjustment: Restoring Data After a Battery Change, etc.

Car audio isn’t something that’s finished just by installing speakers and an amplifier; the sound is refined with detailed adjustments to suit the in-car environment.
As a result, if settings on the DSP, navigation, or audio unit are initialized due to battery disconnect/reconnect or a power reset, the balance of the carefully tuned sound may become disrupted.

With this menu, we check the status after such a reset and perform restoration/re-adjustment so that the sound can return as close as possible to what it used to be.
If, when you listen to your usual songs, you feel, “Wait—that’s different from before,” it’s often faster to check the situation once rather than just put up with it and drive.

This is a restoration menu primarily for vehicles serviced and adjusted at our shop

This work is, as a rule, a menu for vehicles that we have handled—installed and adjusted—at our shop.
The reason is simple: because we understand each vehicle’s system configuration, the direction of past adjustments, and the installation condition, it’s easier to return things accurately without forcing changes.

On the other hand, for systems installed at other shops or where the details aren’t known, we may not guide you with a simple data restoration. Instead, we may recommend routine sound adjustment and system checks based on an on-site inspection of the actual vehicle.
We will keep it clear and separate what we can do and what needs to be confirmed.

Please consult us in situations like these

  • The sound balance changed after a battery replacement
  • The soundstage or imaging fell apart after vehicle inspection (Shaken), maintenance, or repair
  • You feel that the DSP or navigation settings seem to have been initialized
  • You want to return to the sound from your previous Log On adjustment
  • You can’t tell what changed, but something feels off when listening

Sound changes can include aspects that aren’t easy to understand with numbers alone.
Even a feeling like, “I just can’t enjoy it as comfortably as before,” may reveal the cause once we actually check.

Adjustment support to keep enjoying it long after installation

Car audio isn’t something that ends just on the day it’s installed.
After you start driving, the condition may change due to battery replacement, vehicle maintenance, swapping equipment, and other factors.

At Log On, we handle those future changes as well—looking at each system individually.
The important thing is not that a reset means it’s the end, but that we get you back to a state where you can enjoy the sound comfortably again.

If you feel that the sound changed after disconnecting the battery, please consult us without rushing.
For vehicles that we have worked on, we will review the details first and proceed while carefully checking whether restoration can address it or whether re-adjustment is necessary.
