Original Deadening Stage 2 Sliding Door

Fine-tune from the sliding door—the foundation of quietness and sound inside the cabin.

【For Improving Sound Quality in Rear Sliding Doors. Original Deadening Stage 2】

A deadening installation plan designed specifically for rear sliding doors, for those who are concerned about vibration and sound leakage from the rear sliding doors, or for those whose sound still doesn’t come together as expected even after replacing the speakers.

Because sliding doors are affected by the opening/closing mechanism and internal structure, it’s important to build a solid foundation that can properly contain sound. That’s why at LOGON, after checking the condition of your door, we add aluminum reinforcement bars to increase the door’s own rigidity. By addressing areas that tend to vibrate and making it harder for the energy generated when the speakers move to escape, we suppress low-frequency “smearing” and unnecessary resonance—making it easier for the sound to come together inside the cabin.

We use AT-AQ750 and StP Bomb Aero as the deadening materials. While using different materials for the surface and the backside according to their roles, we perform the installation to match the structure of the sliding door. Since the final result changes depending on where and to what extent the material is applied—not just by simply sticking materials in place—we adjust the details while considering the vehicle condition and your existing audio system.

This plan is ideal not only for those who want the sound from the rear speakers to be a bit more natural, but also for those who want to improve the rear-seat music environment in a minivan or similar vehicle. By installing while considering how the rear sound connects with the front and balancing the overall sound in the cabin, you’ll be able to hear the audio more clearly even from the rear seats—making it easier to enjoy music during long drives.

Deadening isn’t just about the installation coverage or the choice of materials; the processing and finishing must be tailored to the door’s structure. At LOGON, we check the vehicle model, the factory system, and the speaker configuration, then make solid improvements to the necessary areas.

If you’d like to fine-tune the sound from your rear sliding doors, please tell us about your current sound issues and how you use your vehicle. Let’s determine the direction together starting with the areas where you can feel the effects most—rather than expanding the installation coverage unnecessarily.
