Stage 1 SURFACE is a plan based on the concept of the advanced menu Original Deadening Stage 1, focusing on installing treatments mainly on the outer (surface) side of the door.
By avoiding excessive contact with the inside of the door and processing with the area around the back of the speaker in mind, we keep disassembly to the minimum necessary while making sure to work thoroughly on the parts where you’re most likely to notice an effect.

For this reason, it’s suited to people who want to first build the foundation around the factory speakers, or those who want to review things together at the time of a speaker upgrade.
By reducing unnecessary resonance from the door and the way sound disperses, the sound becomes easier to settle, and the music you usually listen to also becomes a bit clearer in terms of definition.

Even though it’s not as extensive as a full installation, the great thing about this plan is that you focus the work on areas that are more likely to affect the sound.
While keeping materials and labor time down, it’s designed to be an easy option as an entry point where changes are easier to feel first.
