【Jimny Plan｜Installing the Tweeter with Door-Mirror Back Panel Modification】

This is a施工 plan for cleanly mounting the tweeter of a separate speaker set onto the genuine door-mirror back area of a Jimny.

We perform modifications to the genuine door-mirror back portion and secure the tweeter using the tweeter mount included with the speaker. The tweeter’s position comes together naturally, making it suitable for those who don’t want a “retrofit” look on the dashboard.

If you’re concerned about interference with equipment such as a drink holder, we may also suggest mounting on the A-pillar side. On the other hand, for those who want to develop the system into a 3-WAY setup in the future, or for those who place importance on the stereo soundstage and sound spread to the left and right, I recommend mounting it behind the door mirror. This is because the mounting position changes both the sense of the sound stage and the visual impression.

Basically, when we replace your speakers at our shop, we carry out drilling and securing using the included tweeter mount with no additional labor charges. However, depending on the vehicle specifications and the existing mounting conditions, we may need to confirm details in advance.

If you want to finish the tweeter with an angle, in addition to the standard modification, we recommend a f­locking finish to refine the surface. We will施工 while checking both the sound direction and the appearance, considering how well it blends with the genuine interior.
