The mounting position and orientation of the speakers greatly affect how the sound comes out. If you want to perceive vocals in a natural position toward the front, or if you want the left and right channels to blend and cohere well, it’s important to consider the angles of the midrange and tweeters in relation to the cabin.
At LOGON, we don’t simply fix the speakers to the A-pillar. We determine the orientation and layout while checking the shape of the cabin, the listening position from the driver’s seat, the units to be installed, and how everything connects with your existing system. Including DSP adjustments, we fine-tune so that when you listen to your usual tracks, the positions of vocals and instruments don’t feel unnatural—finishing with an overall balance in mind.
For the look, we basically use a flocked finish that blends well with the interior. It’s a workmanship that makes it easier to achieve the integrated look unique to A-pillar fabrication while suppressing any “aftermarket” feel. Since the shape and finish vary depending on the vehicle, installed units, and the scope of the work, we decide the fabrication details after confirming an actual car.
