When replacing a car audio speaker, not only the speaker itself but also the inner baffle—which is fixed to the door—is an important component. Plastic baffles are lightweight and have excellent water resistance, making them less likely to absorb moisture and deteriorate like MDF does.

Because rainwater may sometimes get inside the door, thinking about long-term use makes material durability a concern. Plastic baffles are relatively easy to keep costs down, and when compatible with your vehicle model, they can be used as a solid base to securely mount the speakers.

However, since mounting shapes and compatible sizes differ by vehicle model, they cannot be used as-is for all cars. If your vehicle is not covered by the resin inner baffle setup in our various installation plans, we can propose an installation using the appropriate manufacturer-made baffle or a one-off baffle tailored to your vehicle.

Although the inner baffle is a part that will be hidden, the way the speaker is secured and how it pairs with the door affects the final finish and ease of use.
