"The original cable changes the sound quality. The ultimate speaker cable developed with Audio-Technica."

【LOGON Original AT-SE180+|Seat-Under Installation・Front 2-Way+R / 3-Way Compatible Speaker Cable Installation Plan】

When you’re considering replacing your speakers, adding a DSP, or installing an external amplifier, you naturally tend to focus on the speaker units themselves and the grade of the equipment.
Of course, choosing the right equipment is important, but in practice, when you build the sound inside your car, the quality of the speaker cable, how it’s routed, and how it’s installed also play a major role.

The LOGON Original AT-SE180+ is an original speaker cable prepared to match LOGON’s installation plans, with repeated testing together with Audio-Technica and our shop.
It’s not simply a matter of using expensive wire; we carefully consider balance—accounting for in-car routing, installation friendliness, how the sound comes out, and how it will hold up when you upgrade the system later.

Even with the factory wiring left as-is, the sound will still play.
However, once you properly put together the speakers, DSP, and amplifier, the factory wiring may sometimes fall slightly short in terms of sound detail, attack/recovery, left-right cohesion, and the way the low frequencies connect.

By switching to the AT-SE180+, it becomes easier to align the vocal contours, the separation of instruments, and the front-to-back sense of the sound—aiming for your usual tracks to sound a bit clearer and more open.
This is not about changing the sound in a flashy way; it’s about properly building the foundation of the entire system so that the strengths of your speakers, amplifier, and DSP can come through more easily.

Of course, the sound isn’t determined by the cable alone.
To be honest, the finishing result changes depending on which speakers you use it with, which route you run it along, what length you use, and how you combine it with the DSP and amplifier.

With this plan, assuming DSP and amplifier installation under the seat, we will install everything using only what’s necessary, so the setup can support a Front 2-Way+R system, or—depending on configuration—a system up to 3-Way.
It’s not an area you see, but if you handle these parts properly, it leads not only to better overall sound cohesion, but also to greater freedom when upgrading the system later.

In particular, this is what I would recommend considering—including the cable—for people like these:

  • Those who feel that speaker replacement alone is still a bit underwhelming
  • Those who want to organize the wiring properly if they’re adding a DSP or amplifier
  • Those who want to bring out a little more fine detail in vocals and instruments
  • Those who want a sound that feels great to listen to for a long time, rather than something flashy
  • Those who want to keep future options open for converting to Front 2-Way, 3-Way, and even rear outputs
  • Those who want to make their car audio properly, including the unseen parts

I’m not going to exaggerate how much the sound changes just by swapping cables.
But when you build your in-car sound while including everything—from the speakers, DSP, and amplifier to the door-side installation and final sound tuning—if the wiring is done properly, the way the whole system comes together will change.

At LOGON, we don’t simply recommend products as standalone items. Instead, we create a plan in a reasonable, no-stress way by looking at your vehicle’s condition, your current system, what you want to do in the future, the music you listen to often, and how much you want to improve the sound.

If you’re going to make your car audio better, it’s worth making sure not only the speakers and amplifiers are set right, but also the unseen wiring portions.
Let’s look at your actual vehicle and the system contents together, and work out a good setup so you can enjoy great sound for a long time.
