With Kicker’s well-defined sound, every day with the CX-80 feels even more comfortable.
[Mazda CX-80 Dedicated Speaker Plan | Kicker Speaker Replacement Kit]
Listening to music in your Mazda CX-80 and,
…this is the Kicker speaker replacement plan specifically for the CX-80, made for you.
By replacing the front door tweeters, 2-way door speakers, and the center speaker, we’ll build a solid sound foundation while taking advantage of the OEM layout.
The speakers included are as follows:
Because dedicated mounts and dedicated connectors tailored to your vehicle are used, you can replace the speakers without significantly ruining the factory look.
The change you’ll likely notice most after replacing the speakers is improved “listenability.” Vocal contours become less blurry, and midrange content—like singing and conversation—becomes easier to follow. The highs also tend to deliver a clarity that differs from the OEM speakers, making this plan one where you can easily hear the difference with everyday audio such as J-POP, streaming sources, and the radio.
Rather than adding bass in a flashy way, it’s designed to naturally organize the sound around the front, for those who want to enjoy your usual music a bit more comfortably.
For the left and right door speakers, the setup allows installation without major modifications.
For the center speaker, you’ll need to adjust by shaving a portion of the OEM mount in order to secure the dedicated mount. The modification is only to an internal part, so the appearance will not change after completion. Also, since the work is done while checking your vehicle’s condition, it does not involve unnecessary large-scale modifications.
Since this kit uses connector connections on the vehicle side, assembly of the included connector parts is also required to connect to the speaker unit. Considering both reliable connections and a finish that’s less likely to cause issues later, installation at a specialized shop with installation experience is recommended.
In vehicles like the CX-80, where the cabin space is well set up, simply replacing the speakers can already change the sound impression easily; however, the way sound comes out also varies depending on the mounting conditions and how well the installation position seats.
At LOGON, we don’t simply replace the speakers and call it done—we install while confirming:
…all the way through.
This plan is also suitable for those who want to try “how much improvement you can get with an OEM-style replacement.” And it’s a realistic starting point for those who want to improve the sound naturally without going overboard, and for those who want to arrange the front soundstage including the center.
You want to keep the look close to the OEM vibe, while making the music you listen to during your everyday drives a bit more clear. If you’re a CX-80 owner like that, this is a speaker replacement plan that’s easy to consider.
Even with the same speakers, how you experience the sound can differ depending on your vehicle’s condition, the installation method, and your usual volume and listening style. At LOGON, we listen to any dissatisfaction you have with your current sound and how much you want to change, and then we organize together whether it’s best to proceed with speaker replacement only, or whether you should also consider future system upgrades.
If you want to enhance voice clarity and improve the cohesion of the front sound while making use of the CX-80’s OEM audio, please tell us first about your current vehicle and your preferences. Rather than pushing you into a large system upgrade, we’ll consider what fits your current way of using it.
