A 4-channel drive that brings out the clarity and spaciousness of sound.
【KICKER 49WXA1000.4|High-Power 4-Channel Power Amplifier】
You replaced your speakers, but you want a little more headroom in the sound. You want the audio to stay effortless when you turn it up, and to deliver solid output from the low end to the high end.
KICKER 49WXA1000.4 is a 4-channel power amplifier designed in-house by KICKER R&D. At 2Ω, it delivers 450W per channel, and even at 4Ω it delivers 250W. With a 4Ω bridged connection, it can be used as 900W × 2ch.
Not only can it be used as a 4ch amplifier for front speakers, but it also lets you drive speakers powerfully in bridged mode and change how the output is utilized to match your system configuration. It’s suited for those who want more headroom at higher volumes, strong sound attack, and an emphatic push from the low frequencies.
In addition to high-efficiency Class D design with a half-bridge configuration, it supports a Start-Stop function. Because it operates down to 6.5V, it’s designed to be easier to integrate even in vehicles where voltage fluctuations are a concern. It includes power and ground inputs compatible with 1/0 gauge wiring, making it easier to supply the power the amplifier needs.
For input, it uses FIT+™ differential inputs that are easy to integrate with both factory audio and aftermarket navigation systems or head units. Input sensitivity supports low-level signals from 125mV to 5V, and high-level signals from 1V to 40V.
The built-in crossover can be configured independently between AMP 1 and AMP 2, allowing output routing tailored to your system. When combining multiple amplifiers, it also supports remote power daisy-chain connections.
To get the most out of the amplifier’s performance, it’s important not just to add a larger amp, but to consider everything from power supply capacity, speaker combinations, and mounting method to adjustments of gain and crossover settings. If it were me, I’d first check your current system and what you’re unhappy with in the sound, then decide whether to use it as a 4ch setup or combine bridged connections.
At Log On, after confirming compatibility with your vehicle’s factory system and existing amplifiers, installation space, and even power wiring, we propose a configuration that’s realistic and well-matched. If you want sound that’s not only high in output, but actually enjoyable to listen to and easy to live with long-term, please consult us.
