The large 1Ω DVC model is recommended for amplifier power of 1,000 to 2,000W RMS. By taking advantage of the 15" large-diameter cone and a big stroke from an Xmax up to 31.25mm, you can enjoy not only high sound pressure, but also the thickness of the low frequencies and the sense of strong push. It’s a model that delivers impact to the entire track—whether you’re listening to music at high volume, or at everyday levels by adding a low-frequency foundation that front speakers alone are often hard to produce.

Inside, it features a 3" aluminum voice coil former, dual-spider suspension, and a triple-stack ferrite magnet. It also supports a forced-air cooling system and a recone kit that allows replacing the cone, voice coil, and spider. The design is also intended for long-term use, with the option to plan maintenance as needed—another hallmark of this series.

However, since the 15" driver has an installation depth of about 293mm, you’ll need sufficient space in the vehicle and a solid enclosure (box) design. The recommended vented-box volume is about 141.6L, with a tuning frequency of 30Hz. If you don’t consider everything—including how you choose the amplifier, how you connect for impedance, power wiring, and the box volume and port design—you may not fully realize the unit’s potential.
