URC-3 is a high-performance universal remote evolved from the previous URC-2A. By configuring it on a PC, you can assign the master volume, subwoofer level, external input volume, loudness level, and more to the handheld “CONTROL-1” and “CONTROL-2”.

In addition, the mode switch can be set for EQ on/off, preset switching, external input switching, and more. If you group together the functions you use most often, you can smoothly change the volume and the overall sound character inside the car without operating the DSP unit itself or your smartphone.

For example, while listening to a calm sound most of the time, you can adjust the subwoofer’s level to match your mood or switch between multiple sound-quality presets. The fun part of the URC-3 is deciding which functions to assign based on how you use the car and what music you’re listening to.

Since the available functions vary depending on the HELIX DSP model you connect, we recommend checking your current system configuration and how you use it before installation. During login, you configure it not just by installing it, but also by thinking together about which operations you want to keep accessible at your fingertips.
