A versatile 2-way coaxial that's suitable for any music genre.
【FOCAL PC165 FE | 165mm 2-Way Coaxial Speakers That Let You Truly Enjoy the Expression of Music by Replacing the OEM Speakers】
FOCAL PC165 FE is a 165mm 2-Way coaxial speaker that’s easy to choose if you want to take a step up from your factory speakers—such as if you’d like to hear the sound more clearly, make the contours of vocals and instruments a bit more defined, or enjoy the bass without it feeling light.
A key feature is FOCAL’s signature FLAX CONE. With a proprietary diaphragm structure using flax, this model is designed to achieve both a natural “open” feel in the mid and high frequencies and a tight bass that doesn’t rely solely on sheer quantity. It’s also appealing for being easy to listen to across genres—rock, pop, jazz, vocal tracks, and more.
In addition, it uses the M inverted dome tweeter developed through FOCAL’s advanced lineup, making it easier to bring out the spread of the high frequencies as well as subtle nuances. When vocals that sounded slightly muffled with the OEM speakers start to come forward—or when the lingering resonance of instruments moves to the front—you’ll find yourself thinking, even with familiar songs, “Ah, I can hear a sound like that here,” more and more often.
Since the PC165 FE is a coaxial type, it’s generally simpler to introduce than a separate (component) speaker setup. However, the actual sound can vary significantly depending on the door structure of your vehicle, installation position, baffle, sound deadening, and the combination with your OEM system.
It’s not just a matter of swapping the speakers and calling it done. Consider how to build the foundation, how to address unwanted vibrations on the door side, and how to judge compatibility with your factory audio and amplifier. By taking this seriously, you can more easily draw out the brightness and information-rich character that FOCAL is known for—without overdoing it.
At LOGON, we have more than 20 years of experience handling FOCAL, and we place great importance on making proposals tailored to your vehicle and listening style.
We can think together with you while checking your actual vehicle conditions, including questions like: “Should it be used in the front or the rear?”, “Should we do sound deadening as well?”, and “How far can it go with your current navigation system and OEM setup?”
PC165 FE is a speaker where it matters more than just the specifications—namely “which car you’ll put it in, for what purpose, and how you’ll install it.”
If you consult us including what you’re dissatisfied with in your current sound, the music you often listen to, and your planned system upgrades in the future, we’ll search together for the direction that you can enjoy the most—without any unnecessary compromise.
