【Focal PS 165 F3E 3-Way Separated Speakers】

By combining a 16.5cm woofer, an 8cm midrange, and a tweeter, each unit handles bass, midrange, and treble respectively. Vocal placement becomes easier to pinpoint, and you can enjoy guitar and piano tones, as well as the atmosphere of live recordings, with a different impression than with factory speakers.

For the cone, it uses flax-fiber “Flax” material. The sound onset is natural, reproducing a thick mid-bass/midrange and delicate high frequencies in a well-balanced way. The TMD rubber surround suppresses unnecessary vibrations and is designed so the sound stays cohesive even when you turn the volume up.

With a 3-way speaker system, you don’t get its true strengths just by mounting the units. It’s important to finish the installation by checking everything—from the door shapes for each vehicle and the combination with the factory system, to the mounting method, speaker orientation, door-side treatments, and the connections between each unit.
