PRO-16 PLUS features a combination of a 16cm midrange and a 28mm tweeter. It targets a thick, full-bodied sound unique to a large-diameter midrange, along with natural, easy-to-listen-to high frequencies from a silk dome tweeter.

The tweeter uses a newly developed 28mm silk dome diaphragm. With a size configuration considered for seamless integration with the midrange, the model aims to produce sound that is less likely to “pierce” your ears—such as vocal voices, guitars, and cymbals—so you can enjoy it comfortably even on long drives.

The tweeter itself is relatively compact: about 40mm in outer diameter and about 20mm in thickness, excluding the mount. Although it is designed with installation at the factory tweeter position in mind, the actual installation method and required parts vary depending on the vehicle model and the factory system.
