The diaphragm uses Torcon, a high-performance fiber made from PPS (polyphenylene sulfide). In addition to being lightweight, it offers excellent internal damping and heat resistance, enabling wideband playback from 940Hz to 25kHz. It’s ideal for those who want to enjoy a sound with clarity—not just making high frequencies stand out, but reproducing subtle vocal nuances and the lingering resonance of instruments.

The rear features a back chamber with sound-absorbing material enclosed from dBCloth®. Designed to process unwanted sound coming from the rear side of the diaphragm, it reduces the lowest resonance frequency while suppressing harmonic distortion. It also uses metal parts such as a 28mm lightweight voice coil and a high-grade neodymium magnet, plus materials including brass, stainless steel, and aviation aluminum, helping to curb unwanted resonances while also taking cooling of the magnetic circuit into account.

Because the structure clamps and secures the housing flange portion from the rear using a screw-type ring, installation stability is another key point. However, the tweeter’s impression changes depending on the mounting position and angle, as well as how it integrates with the door speaker. Even with the same product, how and where you install it—and how you adjust it—will affect how it sounds.
