【4.75 75mm Paper Cone Midrange|A Midrange Speaker That Refines the Sound’s Core】
You may feel that the vocals are a bit too far away, that instrument sounds blend together, or that the midrange becomes noisy when you turn the volume up.
For those concerns, the 4.75 75mm Paper Cone Midrange is a speaker unit that clearly renders the midrange—the center of the sound.
Designed with a paper cone made from long-fiber pulp, it balances light weight, rigidity, and appropriate internal damping. It shapes the bands that strongly influence the musical impression—vocals, guitar, piano, snare, and more—into a clear and natural presentation.
This unit supports midrange reproduction from 140Hz to 12kHz. By adding it to a front-speaker setup, it fills the important frequency range between bass and treble, making it easier to achieve a cohesive overall sound.
If you listen to music with vocals as the focus, you’ll find it easier to perceive the contours of voices and the positions of mouths. Instrument sounds also become easier to follow individually. Even when you want to enjoy higher volumes, it supports a maximum input of 200W, aiming to balance powerful output with fine detail.
It combines a large-diameter vented voice coil with an N-52 grade neodymium magnet, with attention to heat dissipation. Even during long listening sessions, it helps maintain stable playback.
With midranges in the 75mm class, the way they sound varies depending on where you mount them and what kind of mounting base you build.
It’s important to consider not only the installation method, but also possible interference with surrounding parts and how it connects with the low and high frequencies—while confirming available space on the vehicle side and the configuration of the OEM system. Simply adding a speaker may sometimes disrupt the cohesion of the sound.
At LOGON, we first confirm your vehicle model, your existing audio setup, the music you usually listen to, and your sound preferences—then we organize the necessary installation work and adjustments together. If it were me, I wouldn’t decide based only on replacing the unit by itself; I’d determine the direction while balancing it with the front speakers, amplifier, and crossover settings.
This is a midrange worth considering if you want to bring out the core of the sound clearly, if you want the vocals to sound a little closer and more natural, or if you’d like to refine your current system to the next level.
