The Cellstar drive recorder “CS-61FH” lets you record not only the view in front but also the inside of the vehicle simultaneously. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to keep as video the situation during getting in and out, as well as any unexpected troubles while driving.

In low-light conditions—such as at night or inside a tunnel—video tends to appear darker, but because it uses the STARVIS IMX307, it records video that makes it easier to check what’s happening even in dim environments. It also includes a supercapacitor to prepare for cases where the power cable comes loose due to an impact such as an accident. Even after the power is cut, it continues operating until the recorded data is saved properly, helping reduce missed recordings.

It supports monitoring while parked, allowing you to set it by combining continuous recording, motion recording, and event recording. It’s also useful if you want to record what happens while you’re away from the car, such as vandalism or theft from the vehicle. To use the parking mode, you need the separately sold constant power cable GDO-10 or GDO-24.

Also, by connecting the separately sold GPS unit GDO-30, you can use safety driving assistance features provided by the external (outside-the-car) camera. To make full use of these features, proper installation—including the mounting position on the vehicle, the field of view, and cable routing/processing—is important.
