AVIC-RL722｜8V-inch HD Car Navigation with Vehicle-Specific Design

You may like the usability of your factory navigation, but you want to be a little more particular about smartphone connectivity, map updates, and how easy the screen is to read. If so, the one to consider is AVIC-RL722.

Featuring an 8V-inch HD display with a vehicle-specific design, it’s designed to fit naturally around the dashboard area. It’s also a great option for those who want to improve the visibility of the navigation screen and video while minimizing the “retrofit” look as much as possible.

Since it supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, USB, and SD, you can easily use smartphone maps and music, as well as hands-free calling. It also supports DVD/CD playback, so you can enjoy not only smartphones but also the media you’ve been using.

It supports free map updates for up to 3 years. Keeping your maps up to date is easier, and this is a welcome feature for anyone who uses navigation often—from everyday commuting to longer trips. It also supports integration with a rear-view camera and steering-wheel remote, though actual compatibility and integration details may vary depending on the vehicle model, model year, and factory-installed equipment.

Navigation usability depends not only on the unit’s performance, but also on how it connects to the vehicle, the finish of the panel, and the wiring installation. While confirming whether the AVIC-RL722 will suit your car, how much of the factory functions you can keep, and what installation method would look most natural, let’s decide together in a practical, stress-free way.
