【SR 165 X｜165mm 2-Way Component Speaker】

This 2-way component speaker is designed for those who feel their factory speakers sound a bit lacking, and for anyone who wants to enjoy vocals and the fine nuances of instruments more naturally.

By separating and positioning the 165mm woofer and the 20mm soft-dome tweeter, the system is arranged so that the role of each driver is easier to manage. The woofer uses a processed cellulose pulp membrane, making it easy to hear changes in the sound you’re used to—such as the thickness of vocals and the presence of instruments.

The tweeter uses an N38 neodymium motor. Since the high-frequency level can be adjusted between 0dB and -3dB, you can set it to retain brightness or calm it down, depending on the vehicle’s acoustics and your preferences. For people who listen to music for long periods, being able to tune the high frequencies so they don’t get too strong is also an important point.

The included crossover features a 6dB/octave high-pass filter for the tweeters. However, speaker sound is not determined by choosing the product alone. Depending on the condition of the door, the mounting baffle, the extent of sound deadening, and how it’s paired with the factory system, the final result will differ even with the same speaker.

Because this is a 3Ω specification, you will also need to confirm the vehicle and system in advance when considering combinations with the factory audio and/or an external amplifier.
