The base is the BMW-specific BM 100 NC. The speakers that are normally used as a left/right pair are reconfigured into a single unit for center use, finished with an emphasis on the “core of the voice” and the “clarity of soundstage positioning” needed at the middle of the dashboard.

Because it uses a coaxial structure that integrates a 100mm midrange and tweeter, it’s easier to create a cohesive sound even within limited center space, and it is also designed to help vocals and navigation voice sound naturally from the center.
