AUTHOR AUTO START is a smart remote engine starter that turns the engine on just by pressing the lock button on the genuine smart key three times.
Even when used in combination with IGLA or KEYLESS BLOCK, remote starting is possible while keeping the security functions intact. It delivers both enhanced security and comfort.

Furthermore, when paired with the Compass (AUTHOR CONNECT 2.0), you can also start remotely from a smartphone app. With just one app, you can manage security operations and engine start in one place—no need to take out your key.

The MyTOYOTA app limits engine start time to a maximum of 20 minutes, but with AUTO START the system can run for up to 60 minutes on a single start. Plus, you can restart as many times as you like, making it ideal when you want to cool or warm the cabin thoroughly.

Most of all, it’s convenient because of its voltage monitoring function: when the voltage drops, it automatically starts the engine.
When linked with the Compass, you can start the engine from anywhere in the world, without worrying about a dead battery or being troubled by the power consumption of security devices.

Specifications vary by vehicle model, so installation requires confirmation of compatibility and professional installation at a specialty shop. We will prepare everything in advance, but especially for new vehicles there may be cases of firmware incompatibility. In such cases, we will provide special handling for refunds of the engine starter.
