Tune the power of sound and enjoy your usual car interior even more deeply. Z600DSP.
【ADONN Z600DSP|4ch DSP amplifier that refines sound while keeping your factory audio】
You’d like to fine-tune the vocal positioning and overall sound balance a bit, while keeping the convenience of your factory audio. Simply replacing the speakers didn’t produce the sound you were hoping for. If that sounds like you, consider the ADONN Z600DSP.
The Z600DSP is a DSP amplifier that integrates a 6ch DSP and a 4ch AB-class power amplifier. It lets you drive speakers with the built-in amplifier while adjusting volume, playback timing, and band balance for each speaker in the vehicle.
Instead of building a large system right away, this model is well suited for taking the first step toward improving the sound inside the cabin while making full use of your factory audio.
In-car audio depends not only on the performance of the speakers and amplifier, but also on how sound reaches you inside the vehicle.
Because the distance to the speakers differs between the driver’s and passenger’s seats—and because glass, the dashboard, the seats, and other factors affect the sound—left and right channels may not arrive at the exact same timing, and certain frequency bands may feel overly prominent.
With the Z600DSP, you can perform the following adjustments using dedicated software:
By adjusting these settings, you can make vocal positioning feel more natural, sort out overlapping instruments, and align the connection from bass to treble with the interior of your vehicle.
One of the benefits of adding DSP is that it doesn’t just increase volume to add impact—at normal listening levels, differences in vocals and instruments become easier to hear, and you can steer the sound toward being less fatiguing even during long listening sessions.
The unit includes an ADI-made 6ch DSP that operates at 96kHz/24bit, as well as a 4ch AB-class power amplifier.
It supports not only a configuration that drives the front and rear speakers using the built-in amplifier, but also systems that combine an external amplifier or a powered subwoofer.
Start simple with the Z600DSP as the core, and later review your front speaker setup and low-frequency playback environment. This is a configuration that makes step-by-step system upgrades easier to plan.
With Bluetooth 5.0 and COAXIAL input as well, the Z600DSP can be used not only as a centerpiece of your factory audio setup, but also for those who want to build a system including the way audio sources are played. When you connect the optional multi-function remote controller DSD-Z10 via COAXIAL, you can also play audio stored on a USB flash drive.
Products with many adjustment functions—like the Z600DSP—are a bit of a waste to stop at simply installing and calling it done.
The required adjustments vary depending on your factory audio specifications, your current speakers, whether you have a subwoofer, the music you usually listen to, and which parts you feel are not right.
At LOGON, we don’t adjust only to match numbers—we tune while actually listening and checking the sound in your vehicle.
“ I want the vocals a little more forward.”
“ I want more bass, but I want to avoid muddiness.”
“ I want a sound that’s easier to listen to for long periods without fatigue.”
After hearing your preferences like these, we’ll help you organize whether you should proceed using the Z600DSP alone, or whether it would be better to also consider speaker replacement or a subwoofer.
If it were me, I wouldn’t add equipment right away. I’d first confirm the parts that bother you with your current sound, then decide the configuration. Spending on the aspects that fit your vehicle and how you use it will make it easier to be satisfied and enjoy even after installation.
Even if you use a manufacturer-specific dedicated harness, the connection conditions may differ depending on the vehicle model, model year, and the specifications of your factory audio.
Therefore, it’s necessary to confirm the shape of the vehicle-side harness and the specifications of the factory audio before purchase. If you decide only by email, there’s a risk that the configuration won’t match your actual vehicle, so we guide you after confirming your vehicle model and your current system.
If you want to improve sound by making use of your factory audio, or if you want to start DSP tuning and amplifier strengthening with a compact setup, please feel free to consult us. While looking at your current system, we’ll think together about which parts deserve investment and which parts can be kept and used as-is.
