Yes, we also handle installations using customer-provided (brought-in) items.
However, if you purchase a product that we carry as well from the internet (or elsewhere) and bring it in, the installation fee will be higher than if you purchase the product from our shop.
This is because, although the item price often appears cheaper online when comparing costs, with brought-in items it is more difficult for us to confirm in advance things such as the condition of the item, missing accessories, compatibility differences, or initial defects.
Additional checks or adjustments may be required during installation, and the fee is set to include those potential costs.
We can accommodate products that we can judge on a case-by-case basis, such as car audio, drive recorders (dash cams), and security devices/accessories.
On the other hand, we may not be able to accept items that are not compatible with the vehicle model, lack required parts, or require substantial wiring modifications.
Also, for brought-in items, warranty coverage and defect handling for the product itself are based on the standards of the seller/vendor.
Therefore, if a defect is discovered with the product itself after installation, it may take longer to handle than it would for products purchased from our shop.
To help ensure we can guide you as smoothly as possible, if you would like to bring in the item, it would be helpful and reassuring if you could consult us with the product name and vehicle model available/known.
We are not suggesting anything against your will, but if you want a clear,安心 (reassuring) process that includes installation as well, purchasing the product from our shop is, in the end, more likely to be smoother.
