Yes, in most cases this change is available. The standard LED scanner can be exchanged for the switch-hole type, which fits into an unused factory switch hole or similar blank space inside the cabin. This can also be done together with a security re-installation or a change of configuration. Please note the switch-hole type is a separately purchased item (pricing is provided with your estimate).

The switch-hole type gives a clean finish with a reduced add-on feel, and while the car is parked the blinking LED lets people nearby know a security system is fitted. As for brightness, at night it is bright enough for the scanner’s presence to be noticed, while in the daytime how it looks depends on the surrounding light. If brightness and visibility are your priority, the standard type of scanner is brighter.
